Zahira Medina is an outreach interviewer and intervention coordinator for the "Sustained Female Condom Use in High-Risk Women to Prevent HIV" project. She has been with ICR since 2009.
Medina is a committed community activist and has worked on HIV/AIDS prevention and in the substance abuse and mental health field. In addition, she has worked in Hartford's Mayor's Healthy Communities Initiative Project, a program designed to improve healthcare access for uninsured Hartford residents and their families. She has more than 20 years of experience in program development, implementation and management.
